Do electric boilers need servicing every year? No, legally. But there are several excellent reasons why manufacturers strongly recommend annual servicing:

Boiler warranty compliance

Most manufacturers require annual servicing of the boiler to keep the warranty valid. If you miss a year, you will most likely void your cover.
